Trimmers are very sharp and effective. Middle slot blade is a big help in cutting longer wiskers. I've tried several micro screen razors before and felt they didn't shave as close as I'd like so I'd have to go over some beard areas severl times. I found the slotted blade in this razor helped eliminate most of that. Wish there were two slotted blades though!
