(More customer reviews)This Braun replacement foil and cutter is a new style that is not the same as the previous Activator 8000 Series replacement. Although it does work and provides acceptable performance in my 8000 Series shaver, it is inferior to the previous version. I have a heavy beard and this new version is more prone to nicks and cuts on my face. Evidently Braun has changed the manufacturing quality for this more "universal fit" model. The product illustration shown on Amazon is not what you will get. It was delivered promptly and the seller, Shaver Outlet, was willing to accept it for return and refund if I chose to return it - I kept it, otherwise I would have to throw away a $150.00 razor. I've enjoyed Braun Shavers for many years, but all good things must come to an end sometime.
