(More customer reviews)Hoping to save money on pricey razor blades, I took a chance on this Conair shaver. I was dutiful in using only it on my legs for three weeks.
Here's what happened:
Poor shave. Didn't go to the skin, so I constantly had stubbly legs. I'd go over and over and over areas, at different angles, in an attempt to catch the strays. I don't think the head ever went all the way to the blades. I tried a variety of methods: different pressure, different way of holding the shaver, different shave creams (Conair nixes gels), dry (both after a shower, so the hair was softer and just on the fly), pivoting and locked head.
Nothing made a difference.
What DID make a difference was the hair on my legs began to become ingrown. I have scabs where the hair was yanked out. My legs itch constantly as a result.
I'm back to blades.
