(More customer reviews)I have used a Remington DA-307 for 4 years, replacing the blades & foil once a year. It was time to buy new blades which are $20-30 after S&H. When I seen this razor for $24.99 at Wal-Mart I decided to just go ahead and buy it since my razor was getting old & the pop up trimmer was starting to get loose. This razor is the replacement for the DA-307 being the lowest priced model in Remington's lineup. Basically it's the same razor with a new design & some improvements. First of all the little rubber boot that keeps hair from getting into the motor of the razor is made of harder rubber & seems much more durable. Second is the pop-up trimmer which also seems more durable. It's not rinseable but that's no big deal to me because I used to have a rinseable shaver & I still had to use the brush to get all the hair out. It shaves just as well as the model it replaced & all without all of the fancy flexing/moving heads & middle cutters you see on all the more expensive models.
