(More customer reviews)I've used a Norelco cordless razor for all of my adult life, but because we travel so much, I wanted a razor that operated soley on batteries. To this end, I purchased a Braun battery operated razor for our trips. I was never happy with the results (I hated the "foil") and when I saw this inexpensive, battery operated Phillips (Norelco), I purchased it and couldn't be happier. It's smaller and more compact than other razers and delivers a smooth, complete shave. I hope it continues its performance in the future. Only time will tell. Maybe, someday, they'll sell it in retail stores in the US, but the internet purchase was quick, probably cheaper and easier.
